Title: Study of the influence of alumina content on pore structure stability of synthetic silica-alumina catalysts

Abstract: Silica-alumina catalysts with alumina contents ranging from 0 to 100 wt. % are prepared by following the conventional stepwise precipitation method. The effect of alumina content on the pore structure stability of these catalysts is investigated. The pore structure stability of SiO2-AI2O3 catalysts is attributed to the particle aggregate structure and to the mutual protective action of the particles of different phases present in the catalysts.
