| Abstract: | A number of triphenyltin (IV) complexes of the general formula (Ph3Sn)2 [ON(R)CO]2 (CH2)n (n = 2-4,6,8;. = C6H5 4-CH3C6H ,4- CIC6H4) have been synthesized by the reactions of dihydroxamic acids and triphenyltin chloride in pres nee of a Lewis base . They have been characterized by UV, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy in addition to elemental analyses. |
