Partial molal (or molar) volumes (PMV) of normal chain alcohols (n= 1-5) in aqueous ethanol have been calculated using "Hard-sphere mixture model". The calculated PMV have been plotted as function of ethanol molefraction and compared with the experimental ones. The results are discussed on the basis of molecular structure and solute-solvent interaction.en_US
