| dc.description.abstract | Derivatives of the types C1M1{Al(ON =CMe2)4} and M{Al(ON =CMe2)4}2 have been prepared by the reac- .tions of bivalent metal chlo rides MCll [M =Zn(lI), Cd(Il), Mg(II)] with NaAl(ON =CMeZ)4 in 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratios in tetrahydrofuran. The derivatives M{Al(ON =CMe CMe2)4}2 have also been prepared by an alternative route of reacting benzene solution of M1AI(OPri)4}2 with acetoxime in 1:8 molar ratios. All these derivatives have been characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight measurements and spectroscopic [IR, (1H, 13C, 27Al) NMR] studies. | en_US |
