| dc.description.abstract | Transfer Gibbs energies ( G ) of uracil, thymine, cytosine and adenine from water .to some aqueous electrolyte solutions have been determined at 25°C from solubility measurements. The observed increase in G values and the accompanying destability of these bases linking the double stranded helices of DNA/RNA molecules, are proposed to act as a thermochemical clue for a possible antidote for the replication of cells and possibly cancerous cells as well. | en_US |
