| dc.description.abstract | Reaction of unsymmetrical 2-isopropoxybenzo- 1,3-dioxa-2-borole with semi- and thiosemicarbazones of heterocyclic methyl ketones in benzene solution give different types of complexes with general formula [ (ln)], where Ln, is the deprotonated form of the ligand LnH; n = 1-8). The spectroscopic results show that the Iigands behave in a bidentate fashion whereas the complexes display a tetracoordinated environment around boron as stereochemically active lone pair is also included in the coordination sphere. | en_US |
