| Abstract: | The ammoxidation of ethanol has been carried out over various vanadium modified silicoaluminophosphate catalysts. The reaction is compared with Na-Y and VNaY catalysts. The selectivity of acetonitrile observed is >95% in the case of amorphous VSAPO catalyst. The effects of different parameters like temperature, weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) and time on stream have also been studied. |
