Some metal complexes of 8-hydroxyquinoline-7-carboxaldene amino acids with dioxouranium(VI), lanthanum(lll), mercury(II) and lead(II) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-vis. spectra as well as molar conductivity measurements. It is found that the Schiff base ligands behave as dibasic ONO tridentate for all the chelates.en_US
