| Abstract: | Fe(II) complex of 2-nitroso-2, 3-dihydrophenalene-1,3dione has been obtained as a result of Fe(III) interaction with the ligand. The oxidation state and the structure of the Fe(II) complex have been proved by means of Mossbauer, EPR and magnetochemical data. The coordination mode of the ligand is discussed on the basis of the IR data obtained. |
