| Abstract: | A simple and convenient titrimetric method has been Developed for the assay of some oxazine dyes using iron (II) in acetic acid medium in the presence of pyrophosphate. For a satisfactory titration the concentrations of acetic acid and pyrophosphate must be at least 1M and 0.1M respectively towards the end-point. In these titrations all the dyes are reduced to their leuco-bases. |
