| Abstract: | Complexes of Co(ll), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with isatinmono(4-methylquinolinyl)hydrazone (IMH) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, magnetic moment measurement, IR,. electronic and EPR spectral data. The magnetic and spectral data indicate that complexes of the type [CoL2X2] (where L = IMH; X = Cl, Br or NO3)) are octahedral while [NiLX2] and [CuLX2] are square planar. |
