dc.description.abstractIn this study, diatom indices such as the Biological Diatom Index (BDI), Shannon Index, Berger-Parker Index, diatom assemblages and trophic condition were analyzed and discussed. Results of the present study cautions the indiscriminate dumping and release of pollutants into rivers which might lead to serious environmental deterioration which could be considered as a potential source of threat to the biotic life.en_US
