| Abstract: | Diphenylantimony(III) complexes having the general formula Ph2Sb[XC6H4C(R)NNC(S)SCH2C6H5] (where R = H, X= o-OH, R = CH3, X = p-F, p-Br, p-Cl, p-OH, p-OCH3] have been synthesized by the reactions of Ph2SbCl with the sodium salt of the corresponding ligands. These derivatives have been characterized by elemental analyses and molecular weight measurements. Plausible structures have been suggested on the basis of spectral evidences. |
