| Abstract: | A new class of heterometallic binuclear complexes of the types Ph- l (TSCZ) and Ph- I(SCZ) (where TSCZH and SCZH represent the heteroatomic thiosemicarbazone and semicarbazone molecules, respectively) have been synthesized as monomeric and non-electrolytic coloured solids. These have been characterized by analytical data, molecular weight determinations and conductance measurements. A tricoordinated state for boron and tetracoordinated state for aluminium atoms have been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR 11BNMR, 13CNMR spectral studies in the resulting binuclear complexes. |
