| Abstract: | A few cobalt(II) complexes with acid amide ands, derived from 2-aminopyridine have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental magnetic moment measurements, IR, electronic and thermal studies. The acid amide derivatives of 2-amino-pyridine gave distorted octahedral complexes of the type CoL2X2 (where L= PCPA and PCBA; X = Cl-, NO , NC- and ClO ). |
