| Abstract: | A study on equilibrium and kinetics of the reactions of the carbinol forms of a set of selected dyes (malachite green, vriliantant green, crystal violet and ethyl violet) with mandelic and boromandelic acids in toluene leads to the prediction that all the four dyes will be potential reagents for extraction-spectrophotometry of boron. |
