| Abstract: | A study of Belousov-Zhabotinskii system with 15 different substrates in phosphoric acid medium with ferroin/Mn(II) as catalysts is made. It is notice that ferroin gives rise to more varied oscillatory behaviour than Mn(II). In general, the ratio of onset periods, tin[ferroin]/ti[Mn(II)], for the system containing acetone as one of the mixed organic substrates is found to be ≈ 1.5 to 2.0. |
