| Abstract: | A simple method for the determination of organoisocyanates based on their reaction with an excess of n-butylamine in acetonitrile to form the corresponding urea is described. Carbon disulphide is added which transform the residual amine into a dithiocarbamate which is measured by titration with cerium(IV). |
