dc.description.abstract3-Bromo carbostyril 1 on condensation with triazoles 2, amidinothiocarbamides 4, amidinocarbamides 6 and guanidines 8 affords the respective title compounds 3, 5, 7 and 9. The rapid microwave irradiation of the reaction mixture gives excellent yield of the product compared to the conventional method. The structures of synthesized compounds are confirmed by IR, ¹H and ¹³C NMR data.en_US
