On an average, 44% of the library budget in the university libraries across India is being spent on the procurement of print resources and 56% towards the procurement of electronic resources. And again, on an average each university library in India spends Rs. 58.74 million on the procurement of library resources each year and spends Rs. 0.364 million on the resource procurement against each faculty member. Each faculty member during the period of study has on an average published 3.73 research articles. These and many more aspects have been studied and based on seven different identified parameters, variations were observed in the ascribed and achieved ranking of the university libraries.en_US
