| Abstract: | Bi- an tri-valent ruthenium sulphato complexes, M[Ru(SO4(H2O)2] (M=K, Rb, Cs or NMe4); [Ru(L - L (H2O2)(SO4)] (L - L = bpy, phen or o-aminop ridine); [Ru(Pda)2(SO4)] (Pda = o-penylenediamine); Ru(tu2(H2O) 2 (SO4)] (tu =thiorea); [Ru(CO)(PPh3)2(SO4)] and [Ru(Py)4 (SO4)] have been synthesized from Ru(III) sulphate. The compounds have been characterized on the basis of physical, analytical, spectral and magnetic susceptibility data. |
