| Abstract: | A series of new complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) with 5-mercapto-4-salicylideneaminos- triazole (MST), 4-(2-hydroxynaphthalideneamino )-5- mercapto-s-triazole (HNMT) and 4-(p-dimethylaminob-enzylideneamino)- 5-mercapto-s-triazole (DBMT) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, IR, electronic spectra and magnetic moment data. Ligands have been characterized on the basis of IR and 1H NMR spectra. The complexes have been characterized on the basis of IR and electronic spectra and magnetic moment data. Thermal stabilities of the complexes are also reported. |
