| Abstract: | Correlation analysis of the boiling points, melting points, densities and refractive indices of C1 to C34
aliphatic monoalcohols and C1, to C18 aliphatic amines has been carried out on the basis of graph theory.
Converging polynomial equations of the form y = a0+ a1x + a2x2 + ... + anxn are found to reproduce the
values of these properties very well. The coefficients in the equation for each property and its corresponding statistical parameters, viz.,r, σ, F-ratio and ESS values are given. |
