Conductometric-titration method has been successfully used for determining the stoichiometry of charge-transfer complexes in polar media. The systems studied are: iodine complexes of pyridine, picolines and phenothiazine and chloranil complexes of these donors. The stoichiometry of iodine complexes of pyridine, picolines and phenothiazine is 2:3, whereas chloronil complexes have 1:1 stoichiometry. The effects of temperature, concentration and dielectric constants have been studied.en_US
