| dc.description.abstract | η5-Cyclopentadienylruthenium (II) complexes [Ru(η5-C5H5)-(EPh3)L-L]X or [Ru(η5- C5H5)X(EPh3)L] (where E=As, Sb; (L-L) = 2,2'-bipy, 1,10-phen; L = py, γ-Pic, SbPh3, PPh3 and X=CI, Br, I, CN, NCS) undergo oxidative addition reactions with NOX (X = Cl-, Br-, Br ) yielding ruthenium (II) nitrosyl derivatives, wherein NO binds with the metal as NO+, a terminal and' linear mode of bonding. All the complexes have been characterized by various physicochemical methods. | en_US |
