Rate of backward extraction of the title process has been measured under various conditions. Temperature dependence data suggest that the rate-determining step proceeds through an SN2 mechamism. At 30°, the value of backward and forward rate constants yield log K’ex(r) = 3.193. The value is consistent with that obtained (3.229) from the equilibrium study.en_US
