| dc.description.abstract | Complexes having the general formulae (C5H5)2TiCI(L), (C5H5)TiCI(L)2 and (C5H5)Ti (L)2, have been synthesized by the reactions of N-protected amino acids (LH) , CH(R).CO2H
(where R = - H, - CH(CH3)2, - CH2C6H5, - CH2CH2SCH3 and - CHR - = - CH2CH2- ) with ti-tanocene dichloride in the presence of triethylamine in refluxing tetrahydrofuran. These derivatives have been characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements, and IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectral studies. | en_US |
