| Abstract: | A solid modified electrode, modified with cation exchange resin, has been used to estimate Cu(II) and Hg(I). After preconcentration in the test solution in open circuit condition. it is possible to estimate copper(II) and mercury(I) down to ppb level. The use of this electrode for the estimation of copper in the leaves of Vernonia cinerea, which is a copper indicator plant, is described. |
