| Abstract: | Various new dimethyltellurium dicarboxylates [Me2TeX2; X = CH2C1OCO, CHCl2OCO, CCl3OCO, p-OCH3C6H4OCO, C6H5CH = CHOCO, 3,5-(NO2)C6H3OCO and p-NH2C6H4OCO] have been synthesised and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductances, molecular weights, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR data. A probable geometry for these dimethyltellurium dicarboxylates is also proposed. |
