| Abstract: | ESR studies have been carried out on V2O5/a-Al2O3 catalyst prepared from three precursors of vanadium, namely, ammonium metavanadate, vanadium oxalate and anadium(III)acetylacetonate. The nature of ESR spectrum depends mainly on the sample preparation conditions. The pattern of variation correlates with catalytic activity of the catalyst for ammoxidation reaction of β-picoline. |
