Abstract: Conductances of dilute solutions of Me4NBr, EtNBr, Pr4NBr, Bu4NBr and Bu4PBr in i-PrOH-H2O mixtures (20.3 ≤ 0 ≤ 71.4) have been measured at 25°C. The data have been analysed in terms of Fuoss-1978 (F- 78) and Fuoss-Onsager-Skinner (FOS-65) conductance equations. The parameters like the limiting conductance (A0), the association constant (KA) and the cosphere diameter (R) are computed. The tetraalkylammonium salts are comparatively more associated in i-PrOH-H2O mixtures than in n-PrOH-H2O mixtures. The distance parameter (R) values, on an average, depend on the size of the ions and on the dielectric constant of the medium throughout the range of measurement.
