| Abstract: | The synthesis and properties of pentacoordinated Rh(I) and hexacoordinated Ru(II) mixed ligand complexes of compositions [Rh(CO)(LL)(PPh3)2], {Rh(LL)(PPh3)3], [RuCl(CO)(LL)(PPh3)2 and [RuH(CO)(LL)PPh3)2 (where LL = β-diketonate/monothio-β-diketonate) are reported. All the complexes obtained have been characterised by elemental analyses, IR and electronic spectral measurements. |
