| Abstract: | Binuclear copper(II) complexes of the type (LCu(OR)2CuL1)(CIO4)2 (where L= L1 = 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2-bipyridyl or L = 1, 10-phenanthroline, L1 = 2, 2'-bipyridyl and R = CH3, Et, C3H7i) have been prepared in which the metal ions are bridged by alkoxy group. These have been characterised by elemental analyses, magnetic measurements, and electronic and IR spectral studies. |
