| Abstract: | The present study reports the occurrence of the pistol shrimp, Alpheus euphrosyne from the South-Eastern Arabian Sea. Identification of the species was based on morphological and molecular examination. One male and two female specimens were collected from the experimental fishing vessel FV Sagar Harita, operating in the Arabian Sea off the south-west coast of India during May 2016. |
