dc.description.abstractPopular science writing is a significant genre of science communication. Communicating the S&T related progress and inculcation of scientific temper in the society are the major goals of this genre also. Generating and publishing authentic scientific literature in the Indian languages including Hindi are huge challenges. To resolve this challenge in the scientific literature, translators and editors play vital role. Besides the translation of scientific literature, while translating research papers, translators face numerous difficulties. In this research paper, the author has shared the major characteristics of technical translation of scientific literature and research papers. In addition, he has also empirically evaluated the work of technical translation.en_US
