Abstract: Cell Biology (CB) deals with the structure and function of cells, and it is an important branch of biology. A total of 1918 keywords were extracted from the titles, abstracts, and objects’ captions of 25 top-cited research articles in the domain of CB, and they were linguistically analyzed. It is found that CB is closely interrelated with Chemical Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Biological Sciences, and the mode of formation of CB is distillation of Kind 2—expanded.
