| Abstract: | Carpesilipskyin 1, a novel coumarin dimer which possesses a unique isopropyl side chain, together with two new sesquiterpene lactones, carabrol isovalerate 2 and 2′-hydroxy-4′,6′-dimethoxy-benzoylcarpesiolin 3 have been isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial parts of the title herbal plant followed by structure elucidation on the basis of spectral data. |
