dc.description.abstract	Chemical investigation of the hexane soluble of the methanol-hexane (1:1) extract of the seeds locally grown plant Zea Mays collected from Kushtia district results in the isolation of two new diterpenes, orthosiphol F and ceriopsin C. The structures of the two diterpenes are elucidated with the help of ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, COSY, DEPT 45, DEPT 90, DEPT 135 and mass spectral data.	en_US
