| Abstract: | Several β-ionyl compounds bearing hydrophilic moieties like a carbohydrate, amine, phosphate and amino acid have been prepared and characterized. The solubilisation behaviour of these compounds has been examined by studying their UV-Vis absorption behaviour in micelles. |
