This research has introduced hybrid elevated circular water tanks and has outlined the associated design methodology and guidelines. A detailed parametric study has also been conducted on hybrid elevated circular water tanks (HWTs) with capacities ranging from 100 kL to 300 kL to determine the optimum design parameters for cost-effective and structurally efficient construction. The study has investigated the influence of varying height-to-diameter (H/D) ratios and the number of supporting columns on tank cost and feasibility. Results have indicated that an H/D ratio of approximately 0.8 provides the best balance between structural integrity and economic efficiency. Optimal column configurations have been found to be 4 columns for 100 kL, 6 columns for 150–200 kL, and 8 columns for 250–300 kL tanks. Analysis of higher capacities (400–600 kL) has revealed practical limitations due to increased height or excessive column requirements, suggesting the preference for Intze tanks for larger volumes. The study has established critical design guidelines for Hybrid Circular tanks, ensuring cost-effective construction while maintaining structural stability.en_US
