| Abstract: | Four new alkaloids, viz; 1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-pyrrolo [2,1-b] quinazolin-3-ylamine, 5′-hydroxymethyl-1′-(1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-pyrrolo [2,1-b] quinazolin-1-yl)-heptan-1-one, 2-(1′-amino-butyl) indol-3-one and 2′-(3H-indol-3-ylmethyl)-butan-1′-ol have been isolated from methanol extract of the aerial parts of Sida cordifolia L and characterized using ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, COSY, HMBC and mass spectra. |
