| Abstract: | A simple and highly
efficient procedure has been described for the synthesis of 9-aryl-6-(2-fluorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-
][1,8]naphthyridines 8 by
oxidation of the corresponding aryl aldehyde 3-(2-fluorophenyl)-1,8-naphthyridin-2-ylhydrazones
7 with chloramines-T in ethanol
under microwave irradiation. The products are obtained in good yields and in
state of high purity. The structures of the compounds 3-8 have been
established on the basis of spectral (IR, 1H NMR and MS) and
analytical data. |
