| Abstract: | A series of 1,3-diaryl-4-(4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-pyrazoles 6a-g have been synthesized. 1,3-Diaryl-4-cyanopyrazoles 5a-i required as intermediates have been prepared in a single step from acetopheonone hydrazones 4a-i. |
