Transport has been studied from the point of view of irreversible thermodynamics for aqueous solutions of sodium chloride, potassium chloride and lithium chloride across a sintered disc impregnated with cellulose acetate under the influence of variable magnetic field. Teorell-Meyers-Siever theory has been used to evaluate the ionic transport numbers. The data has been interpreted for Permselectivity and Fixed Charge Density in all the electrolytes and comparisons have been discussed.en_US
