| Abstract: | A new amide, N-cinnamoylpyrrole[1-(pyrrol-1'-yl)-3-phenylprop-2E-enone] 1 has been isolaled alongwith twenty two known compounds from the stems, leaves
and fruits of Piper argyrophyllum Miq (Piperaceae). Among the known compounds,
 -tocopherol, parsley apiole and fourteen terpenes are being reported for the
first time from P. argyrophyllum. |
